The Physical Education Excel Data Worksheet packet is an editable Excel Document that can be used to enter skill/movement-based data based on physical education rubrics set by an individual PE teacher, school, district or PE curriculum program.
Most PE rubrics today use a 3 or 4 point value system based on observed elements of a movement, skill, behavior or action. The Physical Education Excel Data Worksheet gives teachers the ability to enter these points and have them “averaged” automatically for easy grading purposes at the end of a unit or grading period. Student names can also be imported or copy/pasted from any other Excel files a teacher may have.
The Physical Education Excel Data Worksheet was also designed to work with Cap’n Pete’s Power PE Assessment Series which has a 4 point scale rubric (PE Skill Outcome Scoring Rubric) that is included with each of the 24 Skill Assessment Sheets. The scores from the assessment sheets and subsequent rubric can be input in the excel worksheets.

ALIGN COMMON CORE MATH STANDARDS IN PE
Inside this packet are two Curriculum Connection Signs/Posters for integrating math into physical education. The 2 posters (Kdg. to 2nd and 3rd to 5th) identify 2 Common Core Standards for Mathematical Practice for each grade level and provide basic examples of how we can align to the CC math standards with simple PE activities in our daily lessons. The stated PE math applications are simple to do and in most cases we as physical educators, are already incorporating these activities.

The following student workout plan incorporates exercises and movements from the 3 main components of physical fitness: 1. cardiovascular/aerobic endurance, 2. muscular strength and endurance and 3. flexibility. The format of the plan is intended for high school or college age students, 16 years old and above.
The plan combines the 3 areas of physical fitness but allows for flexibility in how the students’ determine the duration of each component and the mode in which they exercise. The beauty of this Student Workout Plan is that the students can use it over and over again but have completely different workouts each time they use it. This plan is concise and can be copied on 2 sides making it a 1 sheet design. It incorporates a visual component to help with the students’ recall and it has “check off” buttons and “fill in” areas for cardio workout duration, and resistance sets and repetitions.
There are 2 forms of the plan: 1) A plan that is intended for a gym with only free weights and 2) A plan that is intended for a gym with resistance machines such as “Nautilus”.

10 EXERCISES X 10 REPETITIONS = 100 MOVEMENTS TO CELEBRATE 100 DAYS OF SCHOOL!!!
The 100 Days of School- 10 X 10 Instant Activity is a collection of 15 exercise cards that can be performed quickly and easily at the beginning of a PE class, during the 100th Day of school week. Ten of the fifteen station cards are spread out around the gym, with each card displaying a 10 rep exercise movement. The students immediately enter the gym and perform (without a lot of instruction) each of the 10 exercises for 10 reps each.
